You Came...

Written 2006:

You came to me like a breath of fresh air

like water to an exhausted plant

Your jolt sparked fiery passions

and buried deep the scars of my past

Even if my love cannot be expressed through touch

my spirit dances with yours in the wind

And even if we can’t go any farther,

our emotions and troubles connect us

To me you are a gust of cold wind

in the separated deserts we live in

You were the drop of hope

that led this flower to bloom,

the last ounce of strength I needed to win

Therefore I can say jet’aime, te amo, mahal kita

If I never met you...My future wouldn’t be as it would be...

ILU,

John
